VENETIAN BLACK
Bluish-black pigment with a hue close to the reputed vine black from an earth rich in an iron ore, called magnetite. Magnetite, natural black iron oxide, like magnet, magnesium, magnesite and manganese are named after Magnesia, a region in Greece with long history and blessed soils.
