Gres Porcellanato
Stoneware or gres combined with kaolin (porcelain) is baked at 1200-1400 ° C and gives ceramic material absolutely compact and hard, with minimal absorption (smaller than 0.5%) and high engraving strength. The predominance of the term “granite tiles” in the Greek market indicates hardness corresponding to granite, without any further chemical affinity.
MPa – Megapascal Mονάδα Πίεσης
A megapascal (MPa) is a measure of the compressive strength of concrete. It lets inspectors know how much pressure can be applied to the concrete before it cracks or fails. Τhe MPa is mainly used to describe the pressure ranges and ratings of hydraulic systems. The higher the MPa of concrete, the stronger the material will be, and the less likely it is to fail.
It was named in honor of the French mathematician-physicist Blaise Pascal (1623–62).
