The term forged cement – cement mortars is what everyone says and it is a cement mortar system that is applied with a spatula with a special technique. The basic feature of the cement screed has a small thickness of 2-3 mm.
Pioneers in the production of the new generation of 3 mm cement mortar are the French. DAMASK’s leading cement maker in Greece has been introducing for 15 years a French cement mortar that continually improves its specifications. 500 projects 55.000 m2 of applications countless details, keep us pioneers in the cement works in Greece, make us stand out and choose us in any project that has particular requirements.
The technical specifications of the material are rigorous because high abrasion, compressive strength and waterproofing properties are required in order not to absorb water and various other liquids that may come into contact with the cement mortar. DAMASK cement mortar is made of white Portland A grade cement, fine or coarse aggregates, hardeners and elastomerizers.
SMALL FAT 2,5 TO 3 MM
They are applied on any substrate (tile, smooth concrete, plasterboard – cement board, wood, mosaic, marble, porcelain, old cement mortar, old industrial floor) after application of the primer.
No expansion joints are needed even on a surface of up to 500 m2 due to high elasticity and no need for glass fiber reinforcement.
By applying the 2-component protection materials they are fully waterproof. The varnish may have a MAT-SATIN – SHINE effect.
THE BEST SOLUTION
For renovations, the best solution is due to its low thickness and adhesion to all substrates.
For application up to 200 m2, about 10 days are required without the preparation work
